RATIONALE

In the pursuit of achieving vision and mission of the school, it is imperative for any school to have strong discipline policy and incorporate it rigorously. In 2011 as directed by the ministry of education, school has adopted school discipline policy keeping in the mind of ensuring child rights and protection and at the same time preventing them from indulging into unnecessary problems. To implement discipline policy with justification and proper rationalization, the nature of offences or crime in the school discipline policy has been categorized into three levels aligned with the law of our country. Thus, with the adoption of school discipline policy, students would receive fair justice from the school irrespective of their background.  The school is subjected to make amendments of discipline policy in the general interest of students as and when required through the general staff meeting.

School will directly forward such case to law enforcement agencies (Police/ Court) which will be dealt in accordance to the Law of the Kingdom of Bhutan.

[In case of offences mentioned in 9 & 10, the culprit may not be directed to the law enforcement agencies if the nature of crime seems not severe. However the culprit must be surrendered  to the parents upon taking undertaking letter as it will prove risky to both the child and school (students & staff) in future. This must be done to avoid disturbance in the general security in the school].
