Science club of Yebilaptsa middle Secondary School had organised a science exhibition on 2nd November 2013.  As a part of the

action plan of science club, it has organised a science exhibition with the help of science club members and club in-charge Mr.

Remesan.A. They brought wonderful ideas, practically tested during the club time and exhibited on 2nd November.  The main

attractions of the day were hydraulic arm and the rocket with CO2. So many specimens of animals and plants were kept which were

quite interesting and informative to the students. The members made few of the scientific principles into practice. They practised

learning by doing. Another interesting item was a maths puzzle, in which the students can use numbers 1 to 16 in a table and they

can use one number once only. Whatever it is when we add vertically, horizontally and diagonally the sum should be same. Many of

the students were trying to this puzzle and last around eleven students could solve it, Kinzang Dorji of 9B being the first. Disappearing

coin, fire without matches, game of chance, game of nervousness, series and parallel connections, fountain, extraction of lemon

grass oil, sea shells, backbone of a snake, working model of digestive system, manometer, mini fan, production of hydrogen etc....

were some of the interesting items. Informative note on famous scientists and sexually transmitted diseases also displayed.

The main aim of conducting such activities in the school is to develop certain values among children. During science exhibition we

could develop team spirit, creativity, patience, conscious, responsible, integrity, positive attitude, insightfulness, resourceful, self
