Teacher’s day

May 2nd is celebrated as ‘Teacher’s day’ coinciding with ‘Birth Anniversary’ of third Druk Gyalpo Jigme Dorji Wangchuk across the nation. On this auspicious day Y.M.S.S also joined the nation to mark the day and to pay homage and to express heartfelt gratitude for upbringing the nation.

The very day was started with keen interested at 9 am by offering butter lamp headed by principal and teachers, making wishes dedicating to the father of modern Bhutan and to all the teachers. The students also presented the cultural programmes. Few teachers and students had also highlighted on importance of the day and shared their emotions through written poem. They said that teachers are the one who shapes and directs the future citizens to the right track.

There are scientist who are innovative in inventing various machines such as aircrafts, engineers to build bridges, doctors to do surgery and so on. But teachers are the master who made them. So, teachers are best in the world. By the end of the celebration everyone was happy and satisfied as they could celebrate the day of greatness “THE TEACHER’S DAY” very successfully in their own and small way.
