Kelzang Tashi, is currently working as a teacher at Yebilaptsa MSS, Zhemgang. He graduated from Chosun University, South Korea, with Master of Education, specializing in Educational Management Administration & Leadership and published several independently-administered journals. He is one of the few Bhutanese researchers to publish with Scientific Journals and has been engaging in interesting educational research for the past few years in a part of the world that often eludes the gaze of academia. The journal was published with Asia Pacific Education Review, Springer Netherlands, which is listed in Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) 2014 by Thomson Reuters.

The paper reporting on distributed leadership in Bhutanese school context is a novel one and this would be an original contribution to the literature as there is little published work on education in Bhutan. Being one of the first few Bhutanese researchers to publish with scientific journals he has been congratulated by social scientists/professors during the long and lengthy review process. This journal will provide insights to Bhutanese audience on distributed leadership and how it is linked with school effectiveness. This journal is dedicated to commemorate the 60th birth anniversary of the Fourth Druk Gyalpo and H.H Je Khenpo.
