The Principal said that it was the right moment to make everyone aware of the importance of captains and their roles and responsibilities in the school. Besides orienting the captains, the student body was also reminded about the purpose of their presence in the hall. Through various video clips, the captains and students were made aware about achieving success through team work.

Note: The roles and responsibilities of the captains and in-charges are defined in the school policy

Good evening and welcome to the Captain’s Orientation Programme 2013. As far as I could recollect, the captain’s orientation was introduced only last year, but the kind of organization was different though. The captains were called separately in the library room and were briefed on the roles and responsibilities by few selected teachers. Very few were aware of what was being briefed on.

Let me express my happiness here for being able to organize this programme in a different and a grand way. I have my sincere gratitude to the Principal and the colleagues for this innovative idea in the making of a brighter beginning and a peaceful co-existence. Life’s endeavors become less taxing and more joyful when we start working together. “Only by binding together as a single force will we remain strong and unconquerable.” Chris Brand ford, The way of Dragon.

The programme was a symbol of motivation for the captains and a signal for cooperation from the students. Thus, with the completion of this very important event of the year, the Principal and the staff look forward to have a year that will blossom with fruitful results in every activity. Furthermore, let us all pray for a harmonious and blissful academic year ahead working hand in hand. Let us together sail the ship of hard work and anchor the land of success!
